K‑Pop Demon Hunters, Game Dev & Hidden Structures
Essays that treat K‑pop lyrics, rendering pipelines, kawaii mascots and endocrine disorders with the same obsessive seriousness. No shallow takes, just hidden structures.
Political Economy · Labor
When a Soy Country Wants to Work Like Software
The end of the 6x1 schedule felt like a historic victory. But you can't decree a knowledge economy's working hours onto a country that still generates US$ 21.2 of value per hour. A look at what the celebration hides.
Pragmata — The Printed City and What It Means to Play the State of the Art
A lunar New York printed from data, a child born from data, and DLSS reconstructing the image the same way the fiction reconstructs the world. First impressions of Capcom's six-years-late sci-fi.
Three waves — global governance, the AI singularity, and the revolution of bodies — colliding in 2026. The moment the map tears, and who gets to decide what the territory means.
It's a clinical case of self-erasure. A Jungian analysis of the narrative that Disney covered with violins — and why calling Mulan empowered is praising the prison for the prisoner's creativity.
The laboratory is over. The tools have been built. Now the argument — where Plato, Nietzsche and Marx converge into a single thesis about how politics actually works.
Games & NVIDIA Technologies — from DLSS to neural rendering
Every AAA game that proves the thesis: in 2026, rasterization became fallback. Cyberpunk, DOOM, Witcher 4 — and the DLSS 5 that rewrites what a pixel is.
Beyond Patterns is a creative studio based in São Paulo. We develop games, build websites, edit video, consult on hardware builds, run business mentoring — and operate an independent editorial platform where we publish the kind of analysis nobody else writes. The studio exists at the intersection of technical execution and authorial voice: we don't just deliver work, we demonstrate how we think.
What we do
Six ways we work with you.
Each service runs independently, but they reinforce each other. A client who hires game outsource reads our essays and knows we think beyond the sprint. Someone who discovers us through the editorial hires the studio for their next project. That's the loop.
🎮
Games Outsource
Full-cycle game development — from prototyping to production pipelines. We handle the technical art, the systems, and the narrative design that studios need but can't always staff internally.
🌐
Web Development
Websites and digital products built with intention. Clean code, strong design systems, editorial-grade aesthetics. Not templates — not agency assembly lines.
🎬
Video Editing
Audiovisual editing for creators, brands and products. We understand pacing, visual narrative and platform-specific language — not just cuts and transitions.
🛠️
Hardware Consulting
Need to build a PC for game development, video editing, 3D rendering — or just want to play at high settings without wasting money on the wrong parts? We help you pick exactly the right components for your workload and budget.
🧭
Business Mentoring
Strategic mentoring for creative professionals and companies figuring out positioning, revenue structure, and how to communicate what they actually do.

Editorial & Media
The Beyond Patterns site itself — our proprietary editorial platform. Long-form analysis covering K-pop, game design, biology, tech and culture. Published in English and Portuguese.
How we think
What makes this studio different.
Most studios sell execution. Most agencies sell narrative. We do both — and we do it with an interdisciplinary depth that's hard to fake and harder to copy.
🔬Technical depth
We write about rendering pipelines because we build them. We analyze game mechanics because we design them. The editorial proves the technical — it's not marketing copy, it's demonstrated knowledge.
🎨Authorial voice
Everything we publish has a point of view. Our analysis of a K-pop dub goes thousands of words deep because the structure demands it. That voice — precise, warm, unapologetically nerdy — is the studio's identity.
🌍Bilingual reach
Every essay, every project, every client conversation — we operate natively in both Portuguese and English. Not translated, not adapted. Written from scratch in both languages for both audiences.
The editorial
beyondpatternsjulli.com
The editorial site is the public face of everything we know. It publishes long-form essays — deep-dive analyses averaging 3,000 words — that analyze K-pop dubbing decisions verse by verse, break down GPU rendering pipelines with diagrams, examine the philosophy of kawaii mascots, and document intersex biology with the same obsessive rigor. Every article is fully bilingual, built from scratch in vanilla HTML/CSS/JS with custom particle systems, immersive audio, and article-specific visual identities. The site is not a blog. It's repertoire.
Game developer, web developer, content creator and technical writer based in São Paulo. Juliana brings an unusual combination of skills — she designs game mechanics, writes production-grade JavaScript, analyzes K-pop lyrics verse by verse, and explains endocrine biology with the same precision she uses to debug a rendering pipeline. Her work sits at the intersection of technology, narrative and cultural analysis, and her editorial output is the kind of depth that can't be outsourced or generated.
Whether you need a game built, a site designed, a video edited, a PC specc'd for your workflow, or just someone who thinks about your project the way we think about ours — let's talk.
